Pray for Israel

As believers in Yeshua, we have the calling and honor to pray on behalf of the land and the people of Israel. As a congregation, we take that calling seriously in light of the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 12) and the directions to "pray for the peace of Jerusalem" (Psalm 122) and "speak kindly to Jerusalem" (Isaiah 40). Especially now as Israel is engaged in war with Hamas and there are still hostages in Gaza, we are asking you to join us in prayer in these ways:

Pray for deep comfort for the families of hostages and victims - that G-d would be tangibly near.

The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)

Pray for protection over Jewish communities around the world and for G-d's justice to rise.

Save me, LORD, from my enemies; I take refuge in You. (Psalm 143:9)

Pray for healing for those who have witnessed these horrors - and for all who carry the trauma of growing hatred.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)

Pray that love would be louder than hate, and that Jewish people would feel surrounded by the prayers and support of believers worldwide.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21)
