Chapel Carpet and More

A lot got done this week! In the chapel, our work day volunteers prepped the room for carpet installation, including removing an old brick step that was replaced with a new wood one before the carpets were installed. The carpets look great and the room is just about ready. We're just waiting for the big window installation and then the chapel will be ready for furniture.

Our work day volunteers also prepped the room that will soon be our new library/meeting room. The lumber from the pews in the sanctuary are going to be repurposed into book shelving for the library which is going to look amazing.

Lastly, the bathrooms are SO CLOSE to being complete. All the tile work and paint is now finished. The stall dividers and doors have been installed and one of the two vanities are in. Next is just the toilet/urinal/sink installation and the addition of accessories like trash cans, soap dispensers, changing tables, and the like.

NEXT UP: the demo and rebuilding of the sanctuary, refresh of the kitchen, and the new main entryway build.
